drift writes and narrates sleep stories from ideas you describe. This page explains what we collect and who sees it.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
- What you make: the ideas you type, the stories and audio generated from them, and your choices of tone, voice and length.
- How you use drift: what you listen to, like, save, rate or report, and your Sleep DNA answers. This is how suggestions get personalised.
- Credits and purchases: your credit balance and history. [Payment details are handled by the app store / RevenueCat, not by us — confirm when purchases ship.]
- Diagnostics: crash and error reports through Sentry. [State exactly what Sentry captures once the audit of
sendDefaultPiiand replay is settled.] - Waitlist: if you join the waitlist on this site, your email address and the kind of device you used. [Add retention period.]
Who processes it
- Anthropic receives your story idea to write the story.
- ElevenLabs receives the story text to narrate it.
- Supabase stores your account, stories and audio. [Hosting region.]
- Sentry receives diagnostics.
We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see your stories
Stories are private unless you publish them. Published stories, with their title and idea, can be seen by other listeners and are moderated.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app (Profile). That permanently removes your account, stories and audio. [State retention for backups and the waitlist.] To have your waitlist email removed, write to the support address below.
